VOICE ACTING – Happy reading time!

When you and your students don’t have enough time for role-play, voice acting becomes the best choice for acting out a short story in the text book.
Voice Acting not only describes how much your students enjoy the story but it also gives them a chance to show their voice talent. Your students can gain some small tips when they prepare, imagine and act in front of their first audience – other classmates.
Think about future, some of your students can be successful Voice Actors and Audio Engineers.

It’s so relaxing when sometimes you can get loud, go crazy with what you are reading. Who said that learning is overloaded and stressful?

Here are some tips for your students:

1- See clearly?
This should be obvious. If you can’t see the script, how can you possibly read the story? You should put on your glasses if you are short-sighted. You should hold your book in a right way, right position in order to see the reading content clearly.
2- Prepare:
Do whatever you need to do to prepare yourself to perform the read you are about to deliver.
3-  Don’t try to memorize.
Don’t take your eyes off the page and think you’ll remember what was there. Read the words in front of you.
4- Repetition.
If a word or phrase is difficult for you to say, repeat it over and over again until you get comfortable with it.
5. Adjust your speed.
Subtle changes in the speed of your delivery can make it easier to say difficult words or phrases.
9. Practice.
Practice reading, out loud and fluently, all of the time.
10. Relax.
This is your happy reading time. It is what you do. Relax and make it happen.

Happy Teaching Our World 1 – NaGeo Learning

Yesterday, we had a great time together with Lesson Opener – Unit 2 – Our World 1 book.
Class A17A – May School
1st – We opened the Student’s book and talked a lot about the cool picture of a boy who has an insect on his finger.
My students also shared their own TOUCHING experience to all classmates. Some students have touched butterflies, worms, frogs…and even snakes before.
(It was interesting to look at the kids’ face while they were listening to their friends’ stories hihi..)

2nd – I introduced the topic My World. My students volunteered to talk about everything they know about NATURE. I listened to them and drew several simple things on the board.

OP16A – Mr Mike is Our First Foreign Teacher <3

It’s been nearly one month since Mr Mike said goodbye to OP16A.

All little monkeys in the class miss him very much. Mr Mike was so gentle and fun. He cared a lot about students feelings and tried to bring friendly & funny atmosphere into the classroom. I hope the other teachers can do that for my students, too. 🙂

P/s:
